KDTBH: chapter 1

The skies remain grey with splashes of rain dripping down the side of the window on a skyscraper. A boy’s hand wrapped in finger-less gloves rests on the hosed window. He watches the people below hidden by black umbrellas. Half his left eye is hidden behind his dark brunette, spiky, scruffy hair.

“People have problems,” says an echoing voice.

“I am the person they come to, when they need solving” as it continues.

“It seems the least I can do as I have to problems of my own to worry about. I can’t remember three years ago…it’s just an empty chapter in my life, like the dream you start to forget the moment you wake up. The last thing I remember is being asleep on the streets of Tokyo…alone.”

He turns from the window and walks through the room filled with corpses drenched in blood. One tries to reach for him. The boy raises his hand gun and fires a bullet into it’s head. He leaves the building through the lobby. He stands in the rain. Everyone looks up as a floor in the skyscraper explodes. While everyone gasps and covers there mouths, the boy walks through the crowd to his motorbike (Suzuki hayabusa)
